World’s largest siphon, an incredible feat of engineering: Sabarmati canal siphon

We have constructed one of worlds largest canal siphon across river Sabarmati river in Gujarat on Narmada Main canal which involved about 2.25 Lacs cum of concrete and 23000 MT of steel. The siphon is 614 meters long, with 335 meters in the river bed, 72.75 meters on the left bank, and 93.84 meters on the right bank.
